We represent over 80,000 students

Our member associations represent the collective voices of more than 80,000 post-secondary students across British Columbia, and we have a history of making those voices heard in the halls of the legislature.

We’ve achieved some amazing victories

Our advocacy work has contributed to some life-changing victories for students, including cutting student loan interest, securing $650 million for on-campus student housing, and creating safer campuses.

Our work is led by students like you

The work of the ABCS – including policy, research, advocacy, meeting legislators, and campaigning on the ground – is all led by student leaders. We’re guided by a team of officers, and a student board of directors made up of students from each of our member associations.

Our policies are set democratically

Our policies, advocacy asks, constitution, and bylaws are all democratically set by our member associations through our board and general meetings – where all of our member associations have a voice at the table.
