Introducing our Officers
The Officers are responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organization and overseeing the operations of the ABCS. They support the work of our members and ensure student voices are represented in the halls of power in BC. The Chairperson is the key spokesperson for the ABCS and represents the organization as its main spokesperson.

Parnit Kaur (she/her/hers)
Director of Research and Campaigns
In addition to serving as Director of Research and Campaigns for the ABCS, Parnit serves as Vice-President External of the Capilano Students’ Union and as a member of the Capilano University Senate. An international student in Canada, Parnit is in her second year with the CSU, where she previously served as Women’s Liaison.
Parnit is in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts program with a Major in Psychology (Honours).
Parnit loves doing research and student advocacy. When she’s not doing those things, you can find her eating good food, catching up on sleep, and probably public speaking somewhere.

Introducing our Board of Directors
The work of the ABCS is governed by a board of directors, made up of student leaders from each of our member associations. The board approves the strategic plan, the budget, our advocacy campaigns, and they provide oversight for the work of our executive team.
